A Teacher's Guide to getting the Covid Vaccine in Maryland- updated 3/25/2021

How to use this guide: We are working hard to make sure that information on this guide is accurate and up-to-date. However, this is a rapidly changing situation so please be patient if something isn't correct. You can also email us at vaccinehunters@gmail.com if you have information to share or update. Include the word "CORRECTION" in the Subject LIne. This document is managed by 8 teachers who are volunteering their time to help others get appointments.

Suggestions to get an appointment: 1) Sign up for all vaccine alerts that you can, see our list below. 2) If a facility opens appointments at a specific time, sign on early, keep refreshing, have all of your information handy, and be ready! They fill within minutes. If you know what autofill means, try to set that up ahead in chrome. Here are some instructions. 3) Check back here frequently as we will update with information as we get it, 4) While most sites don't take walk-ins, towards the end of the day they may have unused vaccine so sometimes they will open to all individuals, but, this is not guaranteed. 5) If you are willing to drive, try more rural cities that might not have the traffic of our local clinics.

*Montgomery County has additional clinic sites not listed above. These include Quince Orchard High School, Richard Montgomery HS and White Oak Community Center. Right now they are only vaccinating 1A and those over 75, must have an appointment.

 ***Please spread the word and help make sure that any Montgomery County residents over 75, living independently, who haven't been vaccinated have pre-registered at this link. The county is trying to prioritize their appointments so they don't get left behind.

Need help? We are working hard to advocate for systemic changes that will make obtaining an appointment much easier. We have had to close off our appointment requests due to an overwhelming number of requests. We will turn it back on if we are able to obtain assistance with appointment openings from vaccintation clinics.
