June NMAAHC Passes Are Available This Wednesday

Passes go up three months in advance, so if you want June tickets, snap them up on Wednesday

It's peak season once again for the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC), which means you need to act fast and plan ahead if you're hoping to get inside.

Timed passes for this June will become available Wednesday at 9 a.m. The timed passes are necessary for anyone hoping to get in before 1 p.m. on a weekday or at any time over the weekend.

This is your only way to get in if you're hoping to visit Saturday or Sunday; the museum does not offer walk-up entry on those days in peak season.

Peak season runs March through August each year.

Since its opening, the NMAAHC has seen lines wrap around the building every summer as tourists and locals alike wait for a chance to get in. Avoid the heat by getting your pass online this week.
